About WIN IN LIFE Program
This program will promote health, education and teamwork. Coach Ferrin Douglas, Head Coach of the Varsity Basketball team at Lancaster High School , will lead this program with a four day camp focusing on the fundamentals of basketball. With his winning record as a coach and taking his 2010 team to the State Championship this year, his knowledge about the game is invaluable. Each student will learn the basics of what it takes to be knowledgeable about the sport as well as enhance the skills they currently possess.
Not only will the kids participate in basketball fundamentals, but will also have the opportunity to receive academic assistance as well. Coach Douglas prides himself on enhancing the complete athlete, both on and off the court. Being a graduate of Howard Payne University , he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science while balancing a basketball scholarship and the many demands of being a student athlete.
As a leader in this community, you have the opportunity to set the pace and start our campaign off on solid footing and help change lives for the better. Please take this opportunity to demonstrate your community involvement and your leadership in this community with a leadership gift to the Win In Life Program. Please, let others who want to make a difference in our community know that a contribution to the Win In Life Program is a great way to create real and lasting change, right here in the Dallas Metroplex. You are investing in the lives of students who will go on to excel academically and physically!
