Your Second Choice works to provide opportunity, hope, and direction through workshops, fundraisers, and events to individuals and community-based organizations. Efforts aim to those that have an interest in sports education, media and entertainment, financial services, business development, and real estate in ethnically diverse, urban communities. Your Second Choice is recognized as a nonprofit public charity under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

TERRY JOHNSON: With a keen eye for television production, the chairman of Your Second Choice Foundation created an initiative to help media concepts bring their image to life. Terry Johnson, a Dallas native, is key component behind all creativity in front of the camera. He is a member of DCTV and has been recognized with the Media 101 Award for his contribution to television production. He has produced such shows as Southbound TV Music Videos and Southbound TV All Access. As the mastermind behind it all, Terry’s vision is to work with other producers and markets small and large to distribute 30 minute shows that cover all aspects of entertainment. Additionally, he currently produces commercials for local businesses airing on Dallas’own Skip Cheatham of Flava TV and works with infamous deejays Play and Skillz. Terry also is the Founder/CEO of F.F.H. Enterprises –Investment Group and the CEO of Tight Vision Media Group, LLC.

KEENAN KIRBY:

FERRIN DOUGLAS: Head Coach Ferrin Douglas (38 years old) has a wife Tamara, daughter Kendahl (10) two son’s Kade (5) and Kollin (2). He graduated from Howard Payne University in 1995 where he played college basketball and was Defensive Player Of The Year (1992) and 1st Team All-Conference (1994). Coach Douglas has been coaching for14 years. Seven of those years were as an assistant at Dallas Lincoln High School under the leadership of Head Coach L.E. Bishop. Lincoln finished the 2001-2002 season 40-0 and was 4A State Champions and USA Today Mythical National Champions. Douglas began his head coaching career at James Madison High School reaching the playoffs in his first season. Coach Douglas is in his third year as head coach at Lancaster High School . He has compiled a 91-16 record in three seasons and is 36-0 in district play. Douglas was named 15-4A Coach Of The Year in all three seasons. The Tigers reached the Region II Finals for the first time since 2004 and finished the season ranked #2 in the DFW area and #6 in the State of Texas in 2009. In 2010, Coach Douglas won his first Region II championship and competed for the 4A State Championship which was played in front of 17,000 fans, the largest crowd ever in U.I.L. history. The Tigers had not reached the finals since 1964, ending a 46 year old drought. Coach Douglas Tigers finished the season #1 in the DFW area, #2 in the State of Texas and #40 in the nation.
